Yoana Ruiz Torrijos born in Castilla la Mancha, Spain, graduated in tourism and qualified as a Spanish language teacher, came to live in Italy in 2015 to pursue her great passion for aerial dance.
In Pisa she attended several amateur circus arts schools.
In 2016 she was part of a European project “Quality Night” as a street artist between Florence, Pisa and Livorno, working on physical theater and improvisation.
To her path of training, education and personal research she added multiple workshops with internationally renowned masters.
In 2018 she graduated as an Aerial Dance Instructor with the Aria&Terra company at the Orfei Circus School in Rome and dedicated herself to teaching fabric and hoop having great results in the competitive sector.
In 2021 she approached the world of Burlesque with becoming another strong passion but also a great resource to enrich her artistic path.
Also in 2021 he becomes the international referent of the aerial dance sector for the WDCP&C by bringing a regulation.
In 2024 in collaboration with ArteMovimiento (Argentina) he creates and coordinates a professional course for Aerial Dance Instructors recognized and valid for teaching.
